The pub's owner since 2006 said he moved a loud speaker indoors, already met with neighbors, and wants TVs and speakers on the rear patio for World Cup and other sports; offered to compromise.

A father of a one-year-old said he loves the pub but measured noise past the sound limit on disco nights and called police three times; worried a 7-day, year-round permit to 11 p.m. deters young families.
